Book update:

Just wanted to give everyone an update. I have entered into a contract with and editor it is as follows:

I. February 20, 2025 – Payment #1 of $xxx.00 – Deadline for the author to send the editor the full manuscript to begin copy editing. The editor will notify the author if any questions or issues arise during the copy-editing process.

II. March 2, 2025 – Deadline on which the editor returns the copy-edited manuscript to the author for review. The author will accept/reject all edits using Track Changes and make any minor revisions as necessary.

III. March 9, 2025 – Deadline for the author to return the reviewed manuscript to the editor for proofreading. The author may ask for more time if needed. (Extending the deadline for the proofread will be scheduled based on the editor’s availability.)

IV. March 16, 2025 – Payment #2 of $xxx.00 – Final project deadline, on which the editor returns the proofread manuscript to the author, with all edits to be accepted/rejected by the author.

After this process, the book with need to go to a formatter. I am not sure how long that will take.
